## How AI decides what to tell you about a medical clinic

When you ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Google for a med spa, the AI does not visit each business. It reads what is already written about it: the business website, its Google Business Profile, review sites like Yelp and RealSelf, news stories, licensing boards and directories like this one. Then it repeats what those sources agree on.

That is why AI gets small facts wrong. If Yelp says a place is open Mondays and the website says it is not, the AI has to pick one. The table above shows the answers that disagree with the record today.

The more sources agree, and the more specific they are, the more confidently AI recommends a business. A review that says "the nurse did half a syringe in my lips and it looks natural" is far more useful to an AI than one that says "great place."


## How to choose a medical clinic in Florida, with or without AI

A few checks take ten minutes and matter more than any rating. This is general information, not medical advice.

- Look up every injector. Doctors are listed by the Florida medical board, and nurses and nurse practitioners by its nursing board. Both lookups are free.
- Ask who does the injections, and check that person's license.
- Ask for the price per unit of Botox and per syringe of filler, not per area.
- Read reviews that name a provider and a treatment. Vague praise is easy to fake.
- Check that the hours and phone number match on Google, Yelp and the website. Mismatches are how people end up at a locked door.
- Ask whether they dissolve filler and when they would tell you not to add more.
