Your monthly report

Thirty days after you started paying, and every thirty days after that. If you bought on the 22nd, day one was the 22nd. There is no shared day of the month when everybody’s report goes out, because everybody started on a different day.

That also means the period it covers is not a calendar month. Comparing it against your own calendar-month numbers from somewhere else will not line up, and neither figure is wrong.

The document is assembled three days before it is due and goes first to the expert on your account, as a task, with a preview to the people who run this place.

Reports used to generate and send in one run, which meant the first person ever to read your report was you. There was no moment at which anybody could correct a sentence, file work they had actually done, or stop a report that read wrong. Three days is that moment. It is short enough that the numbers are still the numbers when you open it.

It opens on what moved in AI this month, because that is the frame everything under it is evidence for. Then the evidence: the assistants first, Google second, then the things that feed both.

• AI over time: the same readings counted the other way, a point a week.
• Google rankings, with the results page as it stood.
• Directories: where your record is live.
• Authority links.
• Any click campaign running.
• Traffic.
• Completed actions on your Google listing, itemized and linked.
• What we did: everything else delivered, same treatment.
• Waiting on you: what is still in your approvals queue.
• Own Your Market: the work on your own site.
• Press releases.
• What happens next: the commitments for the period ahead.

Each section is produced by a piece of work you either buy or do not. A section nothing on your plan produces is absent rather than empty, so the document is not padded with headings under which nothing could ever appear.

Plans stack. Moving up adds sections and never takes one away.

Published work, dated, with an address you can open. A draft sitting in your queue is not on the "what we did" list; it is on the "waiting on you" list, which is a different claim.

A directory counts once the vendor has read your listing back as live on it, not when it was submitted. The distinction is the whole reason the number on your report is lower than the number ordered.

Every report you have been sent is listed in your dashboard under Reports, and the email carries a link to the same document. The report is a page as well as a printable file, so a figure in it can be opened and checked rather than only looked at.

One copy is ever sent. If you need it again, open it from your dashboard or ask us and we will resend the same document.

Tell us, and say which figure. Every number in the report traces to a stored reading rather than to an estimate, so a number that looks wrong is worth chasing: either the reading is wrong, which we want to know, or it is measuring a different window than you are.
