Your public entry
Correcting your entry, or removing it
Wrong hours, wrong category, or you would rather not be listed at all — both have a proper channel.
Why this page exists
Your entry is public whether or not you registered it — that is what a registry is. Public comes with two obligations on our side: what we publish has to be correct, and you have to be able to do something about it when it is not. Both channels below are free, and both end with a person, not a script.
Fixing a wrong detail
For a wrong detail — hours, address, phone, category, a stale description — use the report-an-error page. Pick the business, say what is wrong and what it should say, and leave an email in case we need more. A person reviews every report, usually within two business days; nothing is auto-applied. If we change the profile, you will see it update on the page.
Removing your business
If you would rather not be listed at all, use the opt-out page. Tell us who you are and your relationship to the business. Because removal is permanent, a person verifies each request before acting — we confirm by email, usually within a few business days. Once removed, we stop maintaining the profile.
Before you do: removal takes the whole entry down, the flattering parts included. If the problem is one wrong detail or a score you disagree with, a correction is usually the better tool.
Disputing a score
A score is a measurement, not an opinion we will haggle over — but measurements can rest on bad data. If you think yours does, send it through report-an-error with what you believe is off. We check the underlying signals against the published method and correct the data where it is wrong. What no one can do, including us, is adjust the number by hand.
Common questions
How long does a correction take?
A person reviews every report, usually within two business days. We only email you back if we need more detail; otherwise the fix simply appears on the page.
Do I need an account to report an error?
No. The report-an-error form asks for an email address so we can follow up, and nothing more. Registered owners just have the extra option of editing details directly.
Can I remove one photo or one line instead of the whole entry?
Yes — that is a correction, not a removal. Point at the specific item through report-an-error and a person will handle it.
Can a competitor request my removal?
They can ask; it will not work. Every removal request is verified by a person, and we act only for the owner or someone authorized to speak for the business.
