Directory listings
We check which directories already carry your business, then order listings on the ones that do not.
An assistant does not read one source. It reads many, and a business whose address disagrees across them is a business it has reason to leave out.
What it is
Twenty three general hosts for everyone: Yelp, Apple Maps, Facebook, the BBB, Yellow Pages, Foursquare, Nextdoor, Trustpilot and the rest. Your trade adds its own on top, which takes a medical practice to forty: Zocdoc, Healthgrades, WebMD, RealSelf, Vitals and eleven more.
A reading says what we found. A directory we could not find you on is recorded as not found, which is a different fact from not present, and we say which one it is.
Readings age out after thirty days, so a page you look at today is a recent read rather than a number from when you signed up.
What you get
- A page listing each directory and where you stand on it.
- A submission order covering only the ones you are missing.
- One record pushed out, so the phone number is the same everywhere it is printed.
- A re-check whenever you or your expert asks for one, and readings retired at thirty days rather than shown stale.
How it runs
You confirm the two fields that print
Phone and address. A directory submission prints both and a wrong one is slow and expensive to take back, so nothing is ordered until you have confirmed them.
The presence audit runs
Every host on your roster is checked, so the order covers only what is genuinely missing.
The order is queued
Queued, never auto-confirmed. Payment confirmation stays with an operator under a spend cap, so nothing buys itself.
Progress shows on your page
The directories page carries the state of each one. There is no email for this, because a queue is not news.

- How many directories do you check?
- Twenty three for everyone, and more for your trade. A medical practice is checked on forty, beauty on twenty nine, restaurants on twenty six, home services on twenty five. Which set you get is picked from what your listing says you do, not from the category word on it.
- What if I am already on most of them?
- Then the order is small. The audit runs first for that reason, and you are not charged for a submission to a directory that already has you.
- Does a directory listing move my AI Score?
