Day to day
How approvals work
We draft in your name and you say yes from the dashboard or your inbox. A review reply left alone publishes on its own after three business days.
The principle
When we work on your business, we draft in your name: a Google post, a reply to a review, a sharper business description, website copy. You stay the author; we do the drafting. Most of it waits for your approval before it goes anywhere. Four kinds start switched on instead, and only one of those carries a clock: a reply to a review of 3 stars or more publishes on its own if you leave it alone for three business days, so a customer who praised you is not left without an answer. The other three, a photo you uploaded yourself, a name and address sync to the directories, and schema on your own site, carry no waiting period at all. Any of the four can be changed, declined, or switched off in your settings before it goes.
Approving from the dashboard
Your dashboard has an approvals queue. Each item shows the full draft and where it is headed. For every item you can:
- Approve it. It moves ahead as written.
- Decline it. It is dropped. Say why and the reason is kept as a standing rule that every later draft obeys.
- Ask for changes. Tell us what to adjust and a revision comes back to the same thread.
- Reply. Ask a question first; every item keeps its own conversation.
Approving from your inbox
You do not have to sign in to approve. Each item also reaches you by email with a private link that opens just that item. Approve, decline, or ask for changes right there, from a phone, without a password.
The auto-approve setting
Some owners want a say on every word; others only want to see the finished work. In your dashboard settings there is an auto-approve section with a switch per type of work: review replies, Google posts, photos, and so on. Switch a type on and that kind of item can go ahead without waiting on you; everything still shows up in your queue and your email, so nothing happens out of sight. Review replies start switched on. Set that type to ask you first and every reply waits for your yes instead.
Blog posts are the exception the other way: they always wait for an explicit yes, whatever your settings. So does a reply that would replace one already on your listing.
A press release is the exception in the other direction again. The date on it is a deadline rather than a publish date, and a release still unanswered when it passes expires and the order is cancelled before anything is bought. A wire release cannot be recalled, so silence there is read as no. What each type does when you leave it alone sets out the rest.
Telling us why
The box that asks why you declined is not a comment field. What you write is distilled into a standing rule stored against your business, and every draft after it obeys that rule, on every surface.
So correcting the same thing three times should not be necessary. You can read every rule we wrote from your feedback, reword one we read wrong, or remove it, in the brand voice section of your settings. What we learn from you covers that in full.
Adding other approvers
If someone else should sign off, such as a manager or a partner, add their email in your dashboard settings. They receive their own approval links and need no account. For fuller access than approvals, invite them as a delegate instead.
Common questions
Do I have to approve every single item?
Four kinds start switched on: a reply to a review of 3 stars or more, a photo you uploaded yourself, a name and address sync to the directories, and schema on your own site. Everything else waits for you, including Google posts. Any of the four can be switched to ask you first in your settings.
What happens after I approve something?
We take it from there. The item is queued for the surface it was written for, and its thread in your dashboard keeps the full history of who approved it and when.
Can I change my mind after approving?
Reply on the item’s thread straight away and we will pull or revise it. Once something is live on a third-party surface like Google, we edit or remove it there too, where the platform allows.
My approval link expired. Now what?
Links last fourteen days. The item is still in your dashboard queue. Act on it there, or reply to the email and we will send a fresh link.
